Ascent Kids
Ascent Kids is one of the best places to be on a Sunday morning. Whether you serve as a greeter, leader, one-on-one buddy, or weekday volunteer, you'll find the time you invest (one or two Sundays per month, or Thursday mornings) directly impacts the faith of the next generation. Plus, it's where you'll find all the fun! Let us help you find your place in Ascent Kids.
Finance, Fix-It, Greeting & Safety Teams
Amy is the coordinator of a few of our ministries that keeps Ascent running smoothly:
- If you are a person who likes spreadsheets and financials, or are curious how to use your gifts of administration our Finance Team might be a great fit for you.
- From moving items, fixing things or helping our neighbors outside of Ascent the Fix-It Team is great for people who serve best with gloves on or a power tool in hand.
- Our Greeting Team is the first impression of Ascent on Sundays. Help make people feel at home with a smile, good morning, and get to know the people who join us each week.
- Our Safety Team helps make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes on Sundays.

Hospitality
Ascent Hospitality creates warm, welcoming, home-like spaces where people can be greeted and cared for as they connect and worship together. We believe the heart of Hospitality reflects God’s character, warm and personal. We have a little saying around the Ascent Cafe, “More Than Just A Donut.” It means that we serve up a little coffee & chai with donuts (of course). But more than that, we want to show how warm and personal our God is. The kind you would want to fill up your mug and sit together to catch up with. We'd love to get to know you and help you find your place.
Justice & Mercy
We love showing up and extending no strings attached generosity to our community as we strive to be for the good of our city. Serving our neighbors is more about participating in the work God is already doing, transforming our hearts, and the relationships we build than what we accomplish. Getting to know and serve alongside our neighbors gives us space to practice the ways of Jesus. We'd love to help you find your way to learn and serve with us.
Next Generation Ministries
We want Middle School and High School students to experience life with Jesus through an incredible community. That’s why we build everything we do around Small Groups. Small Groups are made up of students in the same grade and leaders that have walked that road. Leaders offer advice and support throughout their middle school or high school experience. We'd love meet with you about serving with students.
Prayer
We are a multigenerational team of people who are passionate about prayer and want to grow in the area of prayer. Our vision is that we are praying first about what God is already doing before we do anything. Being reminded that the Spirit is in the midst of everything Ascent is doing. As a team we collaborate and and create opportunities for our community to grow in the area of prayer and other spiritual practices. We'd love to talk to you about finding your place on our team.
Production Team
Our desire as the Production Team, aka. ProTeam, at Ascent is to create a Sunday morning experience for everyone that is excellent without having to be perfect. We are a team that cares for others & likes to have fun together. Whether you know how to use a camera, run ProPresenter, or know nothing, we’d love the chance to see where you fit on our team.
Worship
The Worship Team exists to help all people at any point in their faith journey to engage with God. We have an incredibly gifted team of musicians and technical team members who make our services as seamless as possible. We also do some special music and spoken word pieces when it serves the theme of the morning. We would love to connect with you to find your place to serve.
