Long Answer
The sixty-six canonical books of the Bible,
as originally written are inspired by God.
They are the only infallible guide to faith.
There is one God, the Creator of all things.
He exists eternally in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who are of one substance and equal in power and glory.
God created human beings in his own image.
By selfish ambition, they fell from their sinless state. This placed humanity in a state of sin and spiritual death.
We can be saved only by the grace of God, through faith, on the basis of the work of Christ, through the Holy Spirit.
Jesus, who has always existed, became a person, born of the Virgin Mary.
In Jesus Christ, divine and human natures were united in one Person, both natures being whole, perfect, and distinct. To effect salvation, he lived a sinless life and died on the cross as our substitute, shedding his blood for our sins. On the third day, he rose from the dead and ascended to the right hand of the Father. He will come back, personally and visibly, to complete his saving work, the eternal plan of God.
The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity.
The Spirit continues the work of Jesus and shapes us into the people God intended us to be. We are called to serve our neighbors, our cities, and the world. Human beings should thrive because followers of Jesus are loving others with the self-sacrificing heart of Jesus.
When we turn to God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ,
we are inspired to live a life characterized by the fruit of the Spirit. We strive to contribute to the universal spread of the Good News. We are changed, made new by God. The fruit of the Spirit should pour out from our redeemed lives.
At the end of the age, the dead will be raised. Followers of Jesus will be in the presence of God forever.
